QuestionsBefore you install
- Does re:Work see my screen or what I type?
- No. It counts key presses but never knows which keys. See everything it reads.
- Where does my data go?
- Nowhere. It stays on your Mac.
- Why isn’t it in the Mac App Store?
- App Store apps can’t get the Accessibility permission re:Work needs.
- Can I stop it from recording something?
- Yes. Pause anytime from the menu bar, or exclude an app in Settings → Privacy.
- Do I need to connect my calendar?
- No. re:Work still detects Zoom, Teams, Webex, and Meet calls. Only Plan needs it.
- How do I delete my history?
- Settings → Data. Keep history for 30, 90, or 365 days, or delete it all.
